Considered one of the most romantic cities in Europe, Lisbon is the ideal place to share passionate and memorable moments.
There are hundreds of hotels in Lisbon and sometimes when we need a hotel to spend an unscheduled romantic night it's hard to choose and at the same time surprise.
This is the selection of places that surprised me by the positive. They were chosen almost in the nick of time and it was often the price that led me to try.

Lisbon Arsenal Suites
O Lisbon Arsenal Suites it was one of the best surprises I had of all the hotels I have been to in Lisbon. built inside an old building, with high ceilings, decor based on giant screens on the headboards, cupboards from one wall to the other and modern bathroom, Lisbon Arsenal Suites is definitely an excellent choice that will surprise anyone take it there.
Novotel Lisboa
O Novotel Lisboa it came from an offer my girlfriend received. It was at a time when the hotel had undergone a change in decor in terms of common area, and restaurant and breakfast area. That's when it surprised me. For a moment I didn't believe I was in a hotel in Lisbon. The quality of breakfast, preparation of scrambled or fried eggs live by a cook and at the request of the guest with all that we are entitled to. Well done, underdone, more stirred or less stirred. The variety was also a plus point.
Lisbon City Hotel
O Lisbon City Hotel foi o que mais vezes frequentei. A localização pode assustar (Arroios) mas para além de nunca ter tido problemas de estacionamento, o silêncio também lá estava. A varanda é também algo que este tipo de hotéis se dá ao luxo de proporcionar aos hospedes. Criado num antigo prédio residencial, as varandas foram mantidas e “oferecidas” a quem ali dorme. Obrigado!
Ibis Alfragide
Os IBIS já tiveram fama de “hotel de beira de estrada”, hoje em dia transformaram-se e têm mais condições do que a maioria dos hotéis lisboetas. Este em especial (IBIS Alfragide) caught my eye for the outdoor deck, which is irresistible even in winter. It may be cold, but with a blanket it is perfect before going up to the bedroom. The silence is equally incomparable. The decor is IBIS. It is already a brand of these modern hotels, full of young and modern style.
3K Barcelona
O 3K Barcelona fell on my list, again, for the sake of price. The location caught my eye, but parking is prohibitive. Walking is the best solution. The silence is present once again .. The beds and the decoration of the room are the business card of the hotel. Nobody dares to think about getting up in the morning. It's impossible.
Myriad
Myriad! Ok. Não fui a este… O preço não me permite. Não que ela não mereça. Mas acho que é uma excelente escolha para quem pode. Não para quem quer. Pode ser que surja a oportunidade de experimentar. Se acontecer eu conto como foi.
Things to remember when booking:
- Regardless of whether you book at Booking or another booking site, call the hotel and underline that you want a double and not a twin bed. Otherwise it's twin you'll have.
- Never lie down without taking a good shower. The skin touch on the smooth sheets is 1000 times better after a shower.
- Do not steal towels. Not!
- Most rooms have free tea available. Enjoy!
- If you are arriving after 22h do not count on finding food that satisfies you. Pass a McDonnalds or take it from home. You will starve if you do not.
- Do not leave the hotel without having breakfast. You can eat well and take sandwiches for a tour of Lisbon.
